"I wrote the lyrics for Weak Nights while hyped up on Dunkin iced coffee, which put her in a state of goofiness and anxiousness. "Weak Nights is about the uncomfortable part of dating when you’re balanced between casual and defining the relationship. Not knowing how someone you’ve been hooking up with feels and being afraid to ask for fear of “scaring” the other person away. I’s unhealthy and draining, but weirdly exciting. I love what Taifa and Lien added to the tracks- Taifa’s verse is very visual, I feel like I can see him going from staring at the ceiling in his bed to tripping out at a house party somewhere. Lien’s sound design is like nothing I’ve heard before- moving from something like a jack-in-the-box to a slowed down voice- and when you listen to a lot of pop music it’s so refreshing to hear something new."
